Embedding operation is to arrange an appropriate number of single cards into a printing plate, and the operation after printing should be considered during the operation, especially for books and magazines that need to be stapled, after the paper is printed or folded, the page order is correct. Therefore, the layout relationship between one edition and another edition should pay attention to the following points before printing:

① The nature of the printed matter: single-sided or bottom-sided printed matter, single-page, loose-leaf or book, etc.

②Stapling methods for printed parts: wire, iron wire (flat nails, riding nails), loose-leaf, hardcover, etc.

Most books are higher in height than width. We call this a Portrait Page, and those with a width greater than height are called Landscape Pages. After a book is printed, it needs to be folded from several large sheets of paper to the required size and then nailed along the number. Pages folded from large paper are called one post and one post. The above are the matters that should be paid attention to before printing.

Printing method

①Single side: Only one side of a piece of printing paper is printed, which is called single-sided printing.

②Sheet work: After printing on one side of a sheet of printing paper, another printing plate is printed on the back, that is, a printing piece printed on two printing plates.

③Work & turn: Generally Hong Kong is a printing method called "reflexive version". All the printing plates on both sides of a sheet of paper are arranged in a printing plate, that is, one half of the printing plate is equipped with a printing plate on one side of half of the printed paper, and the other half is the printing plate on the back of the half of the printed paper; Use the same printing plate to print on one side of the paper, and then turn the paper horizontally, using the same long edge of the paper to "bite the edge", and print on the back of the paper. Open for two, and get two copies of the same print.

④Work & tumble: Use the same printing plate to print on one side of the paper, then turn over the paper and print on the back of the paper, and use the other long edge of the paper as the "bite edge". Commonly referred to as "tipping bucket", but this method has been rarely used.
